Open Question: How does the whole college thing work?

I guess i am a first generation college student? and i don't fully understand what i am doing or how it works...i know it sounds kinda dumb. But i am currently on a full scholarship so i will graduate next year...but what from there? I am a criminal justice major and want to be a corrections counselor? how do i get a master's? do i keep coming to this school or something? and what if i needed to major in psychology for that? i'm really confused...thanks for any answers!
