Open Question: What can i say to convince my mom to let me go to a different high school?

I'm in 8th grade now and I want to go to a high school outside of my town. The high school offers a psychology program, which i am interested in and most of my friend are going to that school. The problem is my mother doesn't know i like psychology and will think i'm only doing it for my friends. Honestly i don't really like my school and really want to go to the other high school. I just don't think my mom will let me. How can i convince her to let me go???
